Living in community is more than just living on the same piece of land, the same house, neighborhood or city. It is about the spirit of love, harmony and cooperation that their members share with each other.
Whether you live by yourself or with your family and friends, you can live in community.
What Ananda has to offer is an example, and a setting for a spiritual community. And if this is what you are looking for, we have different ways to help you accomplish this in your life; wherever you are.
Here are a few tips:
- The Ananda Online Community has endless resources of classes, events and articles on every topic under the sun.
- Look for ways of bringing people together in the spirit of helping and serving one another – maybe you need help cooking a meal for a neighbor in need. Or you can organize a cleaning morning for that relative that can’t take care of their house as they used to. Whatever you do, bring others along with you. And if you and your help-team want to turn this occasion into a deeper spiritual practice, gather to meditate for 15 or 20 minutes beforehand.
- Find an Ananda center near you and join them for any or all of the events and gatherings they offer.
- Contact us, and let us know how we can help you to start living a life that will bring about the changes you are looking for yourself.
